Color lesson for school, home schooling or parent to have children work on

Here is an easy and creative way to have your children learn and practice how to make upper case letters etc.  First thing I did was chose a book of pages that I wanted to use.  Then, I made copies from the book I chose.  Due to the classroom I was in I colored the animals in. For they were still learning to color and I did not want the distraction of this to interfere with what I was asking them to do.  I then dotted the color words in black.  Instead of it just being a piece of paper to work on I cut contact paper or you could use laminating paper whatever you have in your class, home or store that you buy this from.  I attached it to both sides of the paper.  Then, their job was to find the correct color crayon  to trace over each color word with.  The good thing about this is that they can be used over and over again.   They can be wiped with paper towel or old sock. We would save our old lost other socks so the children or adult could erase the page after the lesson was checked by the adult.  Also this could be down sized or up sized depending on the level of each child.  As you can see in the picture that on one page I wrote on the page a couple of the children's  name.  Therefore, they needed that guidance in starting them to see and trace their name also.    If you home school and you have an older sibling to help make this that would be an accomplishment for that child in itself.  I think we all like to help and feel helpful in some way.  =].      Here is a little tip I am not sure whether it will refer to all  but I know where I live in Mass.   their is a company that makes all kinds of clear contact paper as well as color, and if you work with children in a school, church home school etc. They will offer you it for free. The thing that they ask you to do is to make a sample of craft, project or showpiece that you did with or for the children out of what they gave you.  You could also bring in a picture instead depending on what suits the individual.  Worth checking into ,and it saves a lot  of money in this area.   At any rate it gives them another way to learn hands on instead of doing all things on a computer.    Hope you enjoyed and if it fits will try it. At any rate thanks for checking in.   :).
